Other Issues:

Wounded #7 was released in the fall of 1996 and some things have changed (as usual!). After over 50 "Tamsos Citadelė" TV shows the channel was adopting capitalist ways and deemed it "too uncommercial" for their audience, it was positioning itself as a "family TV". But another one albeit broadcasting only in Vilnius area and called "VilSat" approached us and we did a few more shows there, but then it went tits up. I was really happy with how Wounded #7 came out and there was retro Thrash/Speed/Heavy Metal thing starting with bands like GEHENNAH, INFERNO, BEWITCHED, CRANIUM, DEMONIC etc. starting so Metal was getting more coverage this time. Also I had the idea to make a special few pages inside the zine called "harsh splinter pages" dedicated only to Experimental and Noise artists and reviews, and use other space for Metal and some Industrial/Electronic bands. I was especially proud to have interviews with OLD, EXIT-13, MOONSPELL and Tom G. Warrior who talked extensively about CELTIC FROST which was rare at the time, because he was doing APOLLYON'S SUN. Ugnius Liogė managed to interview him and feature it in my zine.

I still didn't have a computer, all texts were entered at work and it was irritating to have them laying around until everything was collected and put into a printed zine once in 8 or 9 months. I've heard at work about this new thing called Internet where you could put your reviews and interviews for everybody to see... or rather those few ones who were connected to it :). Anyway, I knew Dovydas Bluvšteinas, boss of Zona Records (biggest alternative music label in Lithuania) and he agreed to give us some storage space on their site. As I mentioned earlier promos were floading in and I had this idea to do monthly newsletters on the Internet and then after half a year maybe to compile them into a printed zine. Since it was a different format, I decided to call it Cyber Wounded. But about that one later, now you better check out what a cool zine Wounded #7 turned out to be (with all the help of amazing contributors, thanx to them all)!
