The final printed Edge of Time issue was released in 2001 before the mag went solely on the web for a few more years and then quietly stopped. Keeping the traditional progressive metal share of contents and containing interviews with Devin Townsend, Symphony X, The Gathering, Labyrinth, Nevermore, and Solefald, the issue took one step further and featured more avant garde and experimental bands like Dysrhythmia, Solefald, Maudlin of the Well, Krakatoa, and The Meicht Group. One of the highlights is Canada/Montreal scene special with Heaven’s Cry, Silent Exile, Obliveon and Kralizec, put together by Christian Rademaker after his visit to Canada.

The issue contains 84 pages in adventurous and unorthodox black/white/grey layout, fully packed in small font with interviews and reviews that provide a detailed insight of what was happening in progressive, power, thrash, experimental and other kinds of metal in the early 00s.
