No Glam Fags (later renamed to Ill Literature) was one of the early projects by Marco Barbieri, a well-known name in the metal scene. Right off the Sunset Strip, the fifth issue lives up to its name by giving no favors to glam metal, instead offering some of the best and most thorough metal coverage. It features interviews with bands like Atheist, Armored Saint, GWAR, Testament, Trouble, and more, along with reviews of vinyl and demos (packed into 12 pages of small font, covering bands like Brutal Truth, Confessor, Cynic, Monstrosity, and Vader) and live show reviews.
